Ingredients

1 Pandoro, sliced horizontally into 3 layers

500g Giorgio’s Traditional Ricotta

½ cup cream

1 cup milk chocolate chips

1 tsp vanilla extract

Icing sugar, for dusting

Optional: dried citrus slices, for decoration

Ricotta Layered Pandoro

Instructions

Step 1

Slice the pandoro into three even layers and set aside.

Step 2

Place the chocolate chips in a food processor and blitz until finely ground, resembling coarse crumbs.

Step 3

In a large bowl, combine the ricotta, cream, vanilla, and blitzed chocolate. Mix well until smooth and evenly combined.

Step 4

Place the bottom layer of the pandoro onto a serving plate or cake stand. Spread a generous amount of the ricotta mixture over the entire surface. Add the middle layer and repeat with another layer of ricotta.

Step 5

Place the top section on and spoon a little more ricotta over the peak. Decorate with dried citrus slices and dust generously with icing sugar.
